TariffPilot helps Australian households with rooftop solar, a home battery or an electric vehicle find electricity plans that suit how they use power. Pages are generated automatically every night from the Australian Energy Regulator's public plan data.

Disclosure: how we make money

• Commercial relationships: At the time of this update we have no paid or affiliate arrangements with any retailer or comparison service, and no links on this site earn us money. In future we may earn commissions from retailers, comparison services or solar/battery quote services. If we do, those links will be labelled and this section updated.
• Ranking is not for sale. Plans are ordered only by our estimated annual cost. A commercial relationship never changes a plan's position, and we show plans from retailers we have no relationship with.
• We do not compare every retailer or plan. We cover 29 retailers that publish residential electricity market offers to the government data feed in the states we cover. Some retailers and plans are not included — see the methodology.
• Not financial advice. Information is general and does not consider your circumstances. Estimates are estimates. Check the retailer's plan documents before you switch.
• Government tools: Victorian Energy Compare and Energy Made Easy are free, independent and cover every generally available plan.
